So now that you've created a dream life, how do we get there?

Create baby steps and small goals that can be easily accomplished. 

For instance if your dream life is to own a business, figure out the finite details in a business plan, before going to put any money towards it. Do the research and make sure the business is viable. I've done plenty of plans only to find out it wouldn't be lucrative or viable for the long term. 

While you're figuring out your business plan, think about the lifestyle you'd like to live. Does it mean 9-5 or would you prefer a different time? Do you want weekends off or would you prefer to work weekends?

Lastly, don't forget your work life balance. It's important to have boundaries when you're going out on your own.  

Even if you're not starting you're own business, remember to start with the lifestyle you want then work backwards in making the steps to achieve it.
